So, What is the Role of a Funeral Director?

The Funeral Director attends to the practical details of arranging a funeral, relieving the family of as much burden as possible.

Some of the services provided by a Funeral Director include:-

 

à Transfer of the deceased from place of death to our funeral home

à Meeting with the family & friends of the deceased to discuss the desired funeral arrangements. This can take place in the families home or at our Chapel

à Arranging with clergy, Cemeteries & Crematoriums regarding time, place, type of service. Liaison with community & service organization e.g. R.S.L., Senior Citizens, Clubs etc.

à Organization and placement of floral tributes

à Completing and obtaining all necessary certificates and relevant documentation applicable to the registration of a death.

à Support and advice 24 hrs, 7 days a week.
